Teams – to bring together all staff including management. Specific content is determined by the core issues facing the team.
TEAM BUILDING DAYS
Kellie Mills is the Team Day specialist. Her forté is dealing with teams that are dysfunctional or are performing poorly.
Team Days are an exceptional opportunity to identify and deal with general issues such as:
- low morale
- poor productivity
- team diversity
- change management and
- ineffective communication.
These days can be used to deal with specific issues, such as:
- drafting an action plan/comittment to assist the team in creating long term resolutions to the everyday problems
- address interpersonal issues such as new staff versus old staff
- deal with resistance to change
- work through problems created by organisational change including rapid growth, staff reductions, mergers of teams, departments or organisations

TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Belbin Team Role Theory® –
assists staff in gaining a greater understanding of themselves, the roles they take in a team and each other, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the team.
- Dealing with Team Issues –
team discussion to deal with relevant issues such as low morale, poor productivity, team diversity, change management and ineffective communication. Create an action plan to assist the team to create long term resolutions to the everyday problems. resistance to change, new staff versus old staff, organisational change including rapid growth or staff reductions, team, departmental or organisational mergers.
- Team Building Activities –
designed to encourage full team participation. Activities that provide participants with the opportunity to stretch themselves and support each other as they step out of their comfort zones. Activities also involve group problem solving elements as well as plenty of laughter (essential for good team development).
- Successful Communication –
Communicate in a more effective and constructive way within the team, across the organisation and with clients. What to say, how to say it and when to say it. Understand everyday barriers to communication – gender, generational attitudes, perception, assumed knowledge.
- Team Work and Self Motivation
The importance of team work and motivation is highlighted in this session. The aim is to create a cohesive, supportive and focused junior team working to create the best possible result for your organisation.
- Roles & Responsibilities
One of the core objectives of this session is to assist participants to understand their key roles and where they fit in the organisation. This component also looks at where their job can take them and managing upward issues.
- Time Management
In the session we look at how essential time management skills can improve productivity, reduce write-offs and reduce stress.
