Topics
Communication
There
are several key areas that fall within the heading of Communication.
The level at which these are delivered will depend on the experience
and expectations of the participants.
The
following are some of the areas that we cover:
• Assertive Communication
The confidence/assertiveness link. Assertive vs. Passive vs. Aggressive.
Tools to assist managers and staff deal more effectively with
difficult situations – staff conflict/client issues. Understanding
body language, tone of voice and more.
• Communicating across the Generations
This is a session dedicated to dealing with communication issues
that arise between generations: Baby Boomers, Gen X and Gen Y.
This session includes practical tools and strategies that will
assist any organisation experiencing difficulty in this area.
• Management Communication
Leadership level communication skills. The way an organisation
communicates internally and externally is influenced by its leaders
both positively and negatively. Many experts believe that communication
is one of the key elements in determining an organisation's success
or failure. Therefore, excellence in communication is a key executive
competency. Included is: how do you communicate with staff, delivering
performance reviews effectively, communication styles, values,
integrity and responsibility, giving feedback.
• Effective Communication & Meeting Management
This session is about understanding how and why people think and
behave to know how best to communicate with them. Effectiveness
of communication is an issue in nearly every organisation. As
we get busier in our day to day work environment, our ability
to communicate effectively becomes more critical. The participant’s
current concepts of effective communication will be challenged
in this session.
•
